An abysmal and depressing past and present but quality education can ensure a bright future.
Old Children at the Induction Ceremony
Samadhan started the mission of opening a few educational centers for the awareness of unprivileged children, who could not afford their initial studies due to financial problems & were not aware about the value of education.
The first step in this direction was the opening of 6 centers, across Janak puri, Sita puri & Nagafgarh areas. Each of these centers has a teacher & a helper. The centers ensure that these students are provided with the basic level of primary education. The teachers inculcate ethical & moral values in them. Apart from this, basic personal hygiene is also taught. Parents have given positive feedback & are very happy with the way our centers are being run. Dramatic change has been observed in the students in matters of self-hygiene & mannerism. Cultural programs are conducted from time to time, thereby, leading to a sense of responsibility in these children.
Admission of many students is done in private & government schools, as per their merit each year.
The next step was to start a vocational center for girls of financially weaker sections. Here, tailoring is taught to make these girls independent, so that they can earn their livelihood.
